Aircon slow to start

I usually operate the aircon on auto setting. When I start the car fist time in the morning the aircon will come on and operate normal.Ever so often the aircon will not come on on second or following starts of car.The rear aircon will work normal but in the front, the fan will not blow. The only way to get the front to work is to switch the "Full A/C" on,then the blower will run at max speed and cooling max.By switching "Full A/C" of then the system will work perfectly on auto. Are there any settings that I have wrong or what else??Advice please!!
Car is going to the dealers on friday. 2012 TDV8 Vogue SE 4.4

Thanks.Tried it and made no difference.Maybe if I take it from 22c down to 16c,but this should not be necessary if system is working normal. 2012 TDV8 Vogue SE 4.4
