TD6 Gearbox Fault Code Help Needed!

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum, I live in Sydney, Australia and have been referred by AULRO to help deal with a problem I've been having with my RR....
I've been trying to chase a gearbox fault code for the last 6 months and wondering if anyone can help...
Its a 2004 TD6 L322 with now 200k's.
Gearbox rebuilt 18 months ago by Rhys at Furious Performace (Guru for these gearboxes in Oz)
6 months ago, gearbox started going into "failsafe prog". Using IIDTOOL, fault code "Pressure Solenoid Line 4 Fault". Reset code and kept reappearing every few days.
Replaced battery in case that was causing it.
Took car back to Rhys, who serviced gearbox , tested and swapped solenoids around and replaced internal wiring harness. Fault still came back and weirdly now can be reset just by turning the car off then on, whereas before needed to be reset by IIDTOOL.
Rhys and Ward from Graeme Cooper (another well respected Landrover independent) both agree gearbox is shifting perfectly, so decided to replace the gearbox ECU with a second hand one. Fault still reappearing.
The fault appears now at the exact time each day. Basically it does it for the first drive of the day, and once I've reset it, doesn't do it again that day. It's fine for the initial acceleration away from my house, and as soon as I get to a slight decline where I take my foot off the gas and let the car coast at 60kph, bing and the msg comes up and limp mode.
Now at a loss as to the next step....and I think I've stumped Rhys as well....

I've also now had it scanned by Autologic, and the exact message is:
004 - Pressure Line Solenoid 4 Fault (EDS4)

I'm able to stop the fault from appearing if I drive for the first few minutes in manual mode and then shift it over to Drive.

Any ideas?

Ok....
Looks like I've asked a difficult question!
Because the Autologic scan came up with EDS4 are there any ideas out there if this would refer to the Torque Converter Lockup Solenoid? I know with a ZF box it would, but can't find a definitive reference to a GM box labelling any solenoid EDS4.
I'm considering swapping out the torque converter solenoid and see what happens...does anyone know if I can do that with the valve block still in the trans?

Any help or ideas greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys.
I've pm'd Steveo to see if he found a solution...haven't had a response yet, so I'm not sure if he's on here anymore. He seems to be the only one with the same issue!

The only other thing I've since realised is that I can move my gear selector between D, N and R at any speed or revs??? And the selector button feels like it stuck in?...not sure if that could be in any way related. Would this be an inhibitor switch thing or cable adjustment thing?
