Does it matter if 2 tyres on the same axle are exactly the same make and dimension tyre (275/40 R22) but one has a stamp saying 'silent' on it and the other does not?

Found a comparison on mytyres.co.uk

The 'silent' and non silent appear to be identical, other than the explanation as to what silent means which is:
'ContiSilent™ – Less interior noise. Reduced interior noise on all road surfaces. ContiSilent™ functions in all weather conditions. No change in any other driving performance characteristics. No negative influence on mileage and load/speed capability.'

Which would suggest that apart from being £23 more expensive than the one without 'silent' on the tyre wall means there is no safety performance difference.

Other than that, I believe they are the same external construction and tread pattern.

I'm completely anal about having matching tyres and I thinkid be OK with your setup
