No rar... an increased awareness thanks to the forum has resulted in uncertainty as to whether or not it would be covered in the event of a failure:

Well I will be visiting my local dealer this week to try and get an answer unless someone comes up with one before hand. I think it’s unlikely to fail and even if it did I wouldn’t be devastated if the warranty covered it . If it is proved that Landrover don’t cover it then it will be goodbye from me . |

Thread 1 (snags) - only thing to report very disco is that the car is now due to go in for the snags to be addressed at the end of this month. Additionally, a recent link that Stan posted resulted in my VIN submission flagging up a safety recall from February 2018, although yet to establish what it's for Thread 2 (no problems day to day/ car seems great) - status quo there. Considering having the exterior bodywork panels professionally detailed this month. Might wait until it has been to the main dealer though... Our silver L322 once ended up with a complete new back end when a main dealer technician accidentally reversed a Defender across the workshop floor and into our car when it was being worked on Not inclined to swap yet nmj |
