Recently broke a windscreen wiper blade clip whilst cleaning the car (as I was trying to lift the arm/ blade off the windscreen it slipped out of my hand and thudded back down on to the screen causing a clip to snap). The result was the blade (less than 12 months old) was slipping out of its housing when the wipers were in use. Whilst waiting for the new blades to arrive, the damaged blade has been used and has and has caused arc shaped scratch on the passenger side of the LR windscreen. You can see and feel the scratch (very fine) with your finger nail. Not a chip or mark on the screen apart from that. So annoying... |

See if you can get it poilished out Ryan, jewellers rouge might be a good place to start, but I’m sure there are folks out there who can sort it without pulling the screen out.

This weekend, used Meguiars compound on every panel followed by their polish and then liquid wax. Until using the compound you got that “gritty feel” sensation when running your hand across clean panels (mainly to the lower areas of the wings, doors and front side vents). Feels more like glass to the touch again. Would like to try new polishes now though. Meguiars is decent but seems to have it’s limitations, so thoughts other than AG SRP welcome...

Well, the TDv6 has covered well over 80k miles now… we’ve covered about 41k miles in our 4.5 year ownership period to date… hasn’t missed a beat during that time. It’s also very good on fuel… still looks fresh inside and out. That’s the most mileage/ longest we’ve had a RR so it must be doing something right, although it now seems like quite high mileage to me as we’ve not had a one with that sort of mileage before… 😂
