Brakes..done, wheel alignment.done, way home - exhaust falls

Why me Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Driving along earlier after having my wheel alignment done and heard a really funny noise, pulled over and had a look underneath expecting them to have not done something up and the middle of my exhaust (where the two sections join) is hanging down from the back box Rolling with laughter

Luckily I had some cable in the boot to make a great roadside repair

looks a good repair that, almost factory.....should last a fair few miles. Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Rolling with laughter I was literally stuck at the side of the road without a clue of what to do, i.e there is method in the madness of the boot lid rusting, as when you change it you keep the old loom Rolling with laughter then it helps to fix the exhaust.

Luckily, its not connected so doesn't get very hot, and the cable means if the outer melts the metal should still hold until I get it fixed.

On the upside, it's where the two parts clamp together it's gone so get a new clamp and I should be away, hence taking it lightly Thumbs Up
