Air Con

Just a quick query before i go and get it re-gassed, is there anything else i should check first? It was working without issue yesterday, but now no cold air at all...

It will decline slowly, so it was fine yesterday I'd check the switch/wires ensuring the pump clutch is working first.

Does the clutch stay engaged?
If it does that would indicate ample pressure.

Perhaps your idea of a £40 re gas will cure it/show up what is wrong?

any reputable re-gasser will be able to do a leak test to see if or where your system is leaking... ... - .- -.

I had a leak from a pipe the runs along the drivers wing.

Where it was clipped to the body it had rubbed a hole!!

Paul - same as mine, the pipe arrived from Duckworths this week and is currently on the table, will probably go onto the car tomorrow evening!

Worrying thing is, Mr Clutch didn't seem to pick this up on a leak test, yet the mobile air con guy picked it up straight away less than 24 hours later...
