speedo stopped working.abs and handbrake on .hdc warning and

help guys this morning the speedo stopped working .the abs and hanbrake light came on .the steering has gone heavy and the hdc warning is on aswell all at the same time .its al322 2003 td6 Vogue .plugged it into a scanner but it keeps loosing comms as if something is tripping like a relay or bad earth or maybe ecu ?. can use some help here please fellas .thanks in advace Thumbs Up

Speedo is fed from the rear left abs sensor. My td6 did that. Ended up being the reluctor ring on the driveshaft that the abs sensor reads from. I also couldn't drive the car at more than walking pace, cos as no speedo reading it thought it was stationary with 3 wheels spinning so it wound the power back.....

I had to get a new driveshaft at the time, as the ring wasn't available on its own. I have since heard ones from an X5 are the same and some Internet places specialise in the rings.

Yours could be something else of course, but something to bear in mind.
