Strange temperature/voltage etc reading in live mode

I was worried this morning that the headgasket on my TD6 has failed, so I wanted to check live values with engine on (coolant temperature, air temperature etc).

the air temperature was shown as: -52876C
Voltage was: 16086V
air pressure: 165092KPa
Coolant temp: 162944C

Now... since the temperature gauge was not in the red, I somehow think that the coolant temp is wrong. There are other reasons I don't believe the coolant temperature, but I don't need to go in to those!!

Do you think that this is a problem with the Tool, ECU or what?

Thanks for your comments.

Nick

Oh that is very strange!

Unfortunately i'm not too familiar with the iid tool, however if you were using an iCarSoft I would have said that i've had incorrect readings from the device before and it can't be trusted too much.

Hopefully someone will be along shortly that will be more help than me!!
