#1 is what mine did when the battery was failing and unable to hold proper charge. If the battery is original then maybe time for a new one. |

I've had the starter just give a click now and again, but start no problem most of the time.

I have just put a multimeter on the battery. 12.09v before it was started (it did a 100 mile run yesterday), 14.45v when running and then back down to 12.18v very quickly after stopping it again.

I very recently fitted a Varta G14 Start/stop AGM. It gets back to a float charge very quickly which is great for short runs. |

Looking at the battery fitted to it now it is a Land Rover part but is actually a Varta G14

I don't know specifically on Land Rovers but on other cars I have looked at then the car would start without the BMS reset but they didn't recommend leaving it too long till resetting it as you could damage your new battery.
