Having picked my car up on Saturday afternoon, where they changed the oil and fuel filter. I've driven the car for a couple of hours and she broke down. Shuddered to a stop. There's over half a tank of fuel in the car, The car wont start and sounds lumpy when it tries to. It just seems co-incidental that Hunters changed the fuel filter and now I have a fuel problem. Does any body have any advice on how to fault find and fix this., I did call Hunters, who just recommended I get it recovered to them so that they can look at it. I plugged the gap IID tool in, and there were many fuel rail system errors and sensor high temperatures. I cleared all the faults and even though the car wont start the faults don't reappear. Dave

The fuel metering valve acts as a fuel cut_off if 12v supply missing. Fuse??

Got a call today, they say the low-pressure fuel pump had packed up, looking at the manual I guess that means the secondary fuel pump, that's next to the fuel filter, the cost to fix is £400. I've told them to look after the car as I'll be abroad for the next few months Dave
