7 seat conversion

I really don't want to change my FFRR but with 4 kids I need extra seats. Does anyone know where I can get two seats for the boot?

Thanks Dan I have spoken to them but I would have to drive to the UK for them to fit it and they do not fold away. plus you cannot use the boot cover with it. not overly impressed with it to be honest.

I posted on here to see if anyone has experience with other makes. I believe that there are ones by Overfinch that fold flat into the floor. Anyone have them fitted?

Is it something like this you want - &feature=related

Skip to approx 3:25 to see what I'm meaning. The Overfinch ones are the only ones I know of which fold.

I would be interested in that style but I thought that their were ones that folded completely into the floor like the ones in a merc E Class Estate or the big volvo estates.

I've seen a few for the Sport, but none for the FFRR like that. And even then it doesn't say it's complient with EU safety standards, just the US, Australia and New Zealand. Plus there may be a lot of technical work needed. I would just keep looking Thumbs Up

I found one that folded flat into the floor from a UK company called Range7 but they appear to have gone bust.

I sold these recently, I think they were from Overfinch - these fold flat to the floor..

Is the boot part of the crumple zone? If so, not sure I'd want to put my kids there.

Hi Johnte I saw them on here and on ebay but I missed out on the end of the auction. They look like the Range7 ones I saw somewhere else today. The Overfinch ones I've seen fold back not down.

Emperor Mong I don't think the entire boot is a crumple zone in a FF and as far as I am aware all Range7 and Overfinch ones are type approved so they mustn't be that bad. These style of seats are in a lot of Merc and Volvo estates as well.

To be honest I'd prefer my kids to be in those seats in the back of my FF than in the back of a Zafira/Scenic/C-Max in a big rear-ender.

I wouldnt put my kids in those seats. Looks very unsafe and uncomfortable. Buy a Disco3/4 with 7 seats. Had 2 of those. Great car and perfect for a big family. Daniel

Hi there,

I've got the 7 seat option in mine, It's like the above ones, Overfinch I think. They're quite handy as they fold virtually flat when not in use and have the full 3 point seat belts. I'm away working for the next 2 days, but if you'd like I can take some pictures of them up and folded?
