Did you reset it and then check the figures right away or very soon after? If so that would explain it. The figure given is an averaging one not a direct one.

If you reset it whilst running at about 50/80 kph you will get a very different figure. Thumbs Up As it is an averaging figure it doesn't reflect real time. John

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

When idling the computer doesn't have KM's to use for the calculations so the calculations are a bit off. When driving the calculation is based on distance driven and fuel injected (theoretical, based on the opening time of each injector and the theorectical fuel amount being injected). This is according to a friend of mine who used to work for JLR. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
