On the same theme, My DFP message came up to day as it has done a few times in the past - no problem. But this time my car has gone into limp home mode. Which I don't understand because the warning light is still yellow not red. I though it only went in to limp home mode if the warning light was red??

I am probably tempting fate, because I have never had any DPF warning lights, but I am interested to find out just in case,

I guess so. Anyways it is well and truly non owner "regenerate'able" now. I phoned my local dealer who said "it sounds like a sensor has failed"...mmmmmmmm He didn't seem interested in what the owners hand book had to say about the procedure. They can't look at it until next week Can't wait to hear what cock a bull story they give me when they hand me the bill. |

Got the yellow DPF warning coming home last night then tonight, on my way literally on the 40mph section of the Westway I got a RED TAKE TO DEALER warning before I got the the 50MPH section of the A40.
