Tie Rod Replacement

Has anyone completed this job?

Just had a look on RAVE and all I could find was how to remove the track rod end, I've tried doing that with no luck at all, it's almost welded to the tie rod!

I've managed to cut the nut and the collar off, but the end still won't undo from the rod Sad

Guess I'm going to have to change the whole tie rod... How is it done? Will it be as much of a nightmare?!

As no one replied this is for anyone else who happens to come accross this problem!

Firstly, there will be no such thing as just changing the track rod end, they literally are so seized up you have to change both.

Just a nut on the ball joint, then a 40mm where the track rod goes into the steering rack!

Haven't put mine back together yet but easily an hours job!
