What phone was fitted to 2002 cars?

Hi folks
I've just taken on a bit of an L322 project which I will detail on this forum at a later date...
Firstly, however, can anyone tell me which phone was used if you specified your 2002 L322 with the in-car phone comms pack?
There is some suggestion it was a Nokia 6310 but I want confirmation before I go out and buy one!
Many thanks
RRG

I don't know if it can help you, but the only picture I've seen of a phone in a Range Rover is this

If you mean the "built in", I believe it was Siemens or some such, it's been a long time since I had mine Sad

After that it was the coffin shaped Nokia 6320 (and any Nokia of a similar size/shape, i.e. 3310) with a special cradle. Land Rover Addict

Picture is very helpful - thanks!
Can anyone confirm if it is a Siemens and if so, what type?
I'll check that part number out later on MicroCat

Search ebay for BMW versions as they are the same!

This one should be fine!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/370516149323

You need to make sure you still have the module and bluetooth receiver in the rear as the handset is not much use without the brain Whistle

Here's mine I pulled out a few years ago when upgrading my old FFRR 2003MY to the full BMW bluetooth kit Thumbs Up

Hope this helps!

Andy.

That helps a lot - I've bought it!
Thanks a lot for the advice.

BTW did you do a write up anywhere on your bluetooth kit upgrade and the NAV upgrade? I would be interested to have a read. Cheers.

Well I've got a nice new brick / Siemens car phone!

I presume it should charge when docked? I'm not sure it is doing...

Final step: I need a SIM card holder which (naturally) is missing. Can anyone help? I can't seem to find them on eBay...

Thanks!

Do you have an existing SIM you want to use? New SIMs come in full sized cards which just slide straight in. I just stuffed a new PAYG sim in mine.

Doh! I had no idea!

Thanks for the tip. I don't want to use an existing SIM so I'll just go and get a new one.

Love it when 'problems' are that easy to solve!
