centre cubby rattle mod

i didnt like the way all the loose bits in the top drawer of the centre cubby slid and rattled about when you opened the double latch to get into the lower portion , so i fettled some pipe insulation and stuck it to the underside of the lid with double sided tape...
its a bit of a bodge job until i figure out something a bit better, but it does work.

Great idea Stan, well done !!! What are you thinking about for the upgrade you metioned ?? Low density foam, similar to the stuff they use in camera cases ?? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

I like that idea.
I had stopped using the top tray just because of the same rattle problem.

Anyone ever figured out what goes in the spaces, presume one side is for a mini maglite as it fits perfectly but what about other side, it looks designed for something ?

no pics yet but replaced the fairly hard pipe insulation stuff with some spongy foam ripped from a kitchen scouring pad ..the foam is white unfortunately but is softer and wont damage things like sunglasses etc.. ... - .- -.
