Please would someone look at a FFRR for me in Southend?

It's a bit of a long shot, but there's a car at Leigh on Sea / Southend, at a main dealers and it looks near ideal. Unfortunately, it's a very long way away from me!

It's a big ask, but would any of you locals be happy to drop by and have a look for me before I make the journey? I'd really appreciate it Thumbs Up

If it's at a main dealer, I would have thought all will be well and you will get the L/R warranty also, which can be used nearer to your home anyway. Happy hunting. Thumbs Up Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

Thanks!

I would still like to be able to know a bit more about how hard a life it might have had over its first year on (or off!) the road, certainly my last experience of looking at an approved car has lead me to be a little bit more cautious...

Hi again Red, I buy often and almost always remotely and have had one or two issues; the next but last being the biggest one. For what it's worth I'd get the sales Manager to do a detailed walk around and in the car and report back any imperfections by email, so that you both have an expectation of what you are buying / selling. they will likely offer you a video presentation of the car but this just makes everything look shiny and new. You need their eyes to see if the woodwork is scratched or there is a mark on this or that.

I've bought six Land Rover's in the past four years and two have been entirely remote (Didn't see it in the metal until it arrived on the drive) and the other four have been remote in the sense that I only travelled to collect the car on the day of sale. Of those one entirely remote buying experience was fantastic and one resulted in a rejected car. Of the other four, three were described exactly and I was happy and just one had a small dint that the salesman claimed not to have seen, despite it being right by the front Range Rover badge on the bonnet, the one place you'd never fail to see it.

All of that said, I'd still buy remotely, even after one very bad experience (My latest one was spot on too) as you can always just send it back if you are not happy. Thumbs Up
