Water pump or hoses?

Hi,

I was recovered on the back of a flat bed taxi earlier. TDV8 had dumped all the coolant, sprayed all over the engine compartment. AA guy topped it up and it began gurgling and leaking like a good un. Fired it up under his instruction and coolant was sucked down and sprayed around.

So my question - simple enough, where are the lower hoses (are there even any) on the rad, or am I really looking at a new water pump (which I think is the problem tbh). I have only had the car back for a week after having the nearside EGR pipe replaced Rolling Eyes Land Rover Addict

Had a very similar problem myself last year.

There is a hose that goes from the radiator the engine, just above the water pump. Had this pipe come off mine last year. AA diagnosed water pump, but turned out to be the clamp had failed on the pipe and it had blown off.

Easy(ish) fix if you have the same problem 56 TDV8 Vogue SE
