Time to moan

Big Cry So, I haven't visited since 03 June and I was looking forward to seeing what's new, I always use the iPad as it 'stars' all threads created/added to since my last visit.

Well, 3 minutes and three posts read and I get this:

And no access to the forum for about 5-10 minutes. Sad (other websites all still working, so it's not my wifi/modem/isp)

Now, the forum has returned. And it's decided to only mark new posts since my last visit TEN MINUTES AGO.

So, forum not working. And all 'new post' lost. Censored

That's a database connection error on the server, nothing to do with your crappy apple product. Very Happy

Go to the bottom of the home page and you can get new posts from the last 72 hours.

Martin? Stan? It just happened AGAIN. The site was basically offline for ten minutes a little after 2300 GMT. Then all is good again. Doesn't make for a nice, relaxing catch up on the posts. Does this site run off one of the computers in a P38? Mr. Green

The P38 had computers? Laughing ( I don't remember them, even though I know they were there, somewhere)

The forum does get its knickers in a twist every now and then and throws up the critical database error, not just for Apple products either.

I reckon I must visit @ 5 times a day, and reckon on only seeing the error @ 3 times a year?

Martin might be able to produce some stats about uptime, which must be in the high 90%'s .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink
