I have always run grabbers on all my L/R vehicles, I find them great tyres for all year round and all conditions. I presume you know they are a brand within the Continental tyre group, so top quality. I currently have 255x55x20's on my FF. You can zoom in on the tyres in this pic.

I have them on my SC 275/45/20, 255/55/20's weren't available a when I needed them, I am very pleased with them, lost @ 1mpg, I would go for 255/55/20

What are they like in muddy fields or tracks? My Westie's on Conti Cross Contacts and they're not overly good in wet fields. Kind of embarrassing in a fattie...... 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography (2021-2024) - Santorini Black 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster (2016-2021) - Santorini Black |

I've got GG ATs on mine and they're fine on wet grass, even when pulling the tin tent .

My MY12 only needed the standard fix for the fuel filler bulge at the inside edge of the right rear tyre to accommodate 275/55R20 BFGs. The BFGs are too noisy so might give the AT3 a try next time if they're available here by that time. |
