PDC sensor voltage?

Afternoon all,

Does anyone happen to know off the top of their bonce what the PDC sensor voltage is on an '07 L322? I know the car is wired 12v of course, but a lot of signal wires only run 5v, though admittedly that's usually CAN lines and I can't imagine PDC runs on the CAN circuit though I could be wrong.

The reason I have to ask is because, you guessed it, my PDC's packed up. Listened to all the sensors and the only one not ticking was the N/S/F inner. Oh that's easy I thought, just put a new sensor in. Er, no...... Swapped sensor with another that I knew to be working and the fault didn't migrate. Censored . Control unit then. But first, let's run a quick continuity check of the three signal wires; first one, good. Second one, good. Third one, no good. Double Censored . Ok, so now there's a break in that signal wire 'somewhere.....' Checked the two feet or so from the sensor to the engine loom and that's ok, which means the break is somewhere between the engine loom and the control unit which as we all know is in the o/s/r corner of the boot! Now, faced with the prospect of ripping out the interior of the car I decided a better solution would be to buy one of those 'fox & hounds' type circuit testers. Only problem is they only measure down to 6v...... So hence my original question before I commit to buying one.

Now I could go back out there, strip the o/s/r out again and measure the voltage, but I've got to be honest I'm having a break from it before my enthusiasm turns to frustration!

Cheers chaps,

Sam
