RR COLOURS

Hi members, please could anyone tell me what year the ipanema sand paint colour came in on the rr.
I have googled, but can only get cars for sale.
Thanks. Greg.

Pretty sure it was introduced with the facelift in late 2009, never seen a mid facelift in it. Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

@nmj, that was my thoughts too, as I haven't seen one before the facelift and digidash , 59 plate I believe. Thumbs Up

@rar110, now you've thrown a spanner in the works Laughing
I wonder if the colour was export only at first.
thanks for your answers, the reason I ask was because I am contemplating changing my ff as its getting on a bit.
some of you know I need to be able to get a hoist in the rear for wife's power chair. The later jag based rr's don't have the adjustment on the air suspension, so I have been looking to the dark side Twisted Evil
now while perusing the net, wife asked, "your looking a lot at cars recently," I said "yes dear, I'm looking because our car won't last forever, and themoor information I can get, the better" ", yes"she said (as I looked at a kia sorento)" l still prefer the rangey."I'm not moaning about that love for the rr, in fact I'm really happy, but now I have to solve the problem of the power chair.
Anyway, I will hang on to mine for the time being and wait until I find the rri want, which will be ipanema sand with ivory interior. I recently saw the colour combo on an l405, it was gorgeous.
Thanks Greg. Thumbs Up

Mine has the parchment or cream interior. Also it's 2007 but MY08.

Wow I love that colour combo. Cool
tbh, I've never seen one lower than a 59 plate here in the uk.
a lovely motor you have their. Enjoy.
They are still out of my price range, but I'm willing to hang on for a while as the g/box is sorted and the rest should be general maintenance.
Greg Thumbs Up

Ta. The tdv8 is the best 4wd and car I've owned. 265,000km or 165,000miles and still going strong. Where's that lump of wood. 😁 ______________________________

What do you mean by adjustment on the air suspension?

The mid facelift go up and down too Thumbs Up

There was a colour on the palette for the export market called Atacama Sand, just seen it in the US brochure which was available on the pre facelift cars.

Also these wheel were in there. Which I've never seen before.

Hi nmj, with the iid tool I have lowered the access mode a further 40mm, to give me the right adjustment for the wheelchair hoist, the later jlr system does not allow you to adjust the access mode only, all heights will be affected.
I'm toying with the idea of carrying a couple of blocks of wood around, so as I can get the height I need, failing that, it's a larger more intricate hoist.
as for colour, I think rar110's might be that colour you describe, it seems a little darker than the ipanema sand that I have seen.
No offence rar110, it's still a great looking colour, reminds me of my d2.
Thumbs Up

the 2 colours are very similar, the Atacama has a slightly greenish hue when you look at them side by side on tinter web but that could be the lighting in the pics. Basically they are the same colour give or take.

Have you asked GAP if there is a way to overcome the EAS problem, or if it could be programmed to do it? Not saying it can as you seem to have looked into it, but by all accounts they are extremely helpful. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I haven't been down that route yet, I will have plenty of time as prices are still a tad too high.

Sorry Greg, I think NMJ is correct on my colour.

I have and IID toll which has enabled me to program three 'normal' heights. However, one of these made by GraemeS on here would be my preference.
