if its a runflat type tyre or the hole is above a certain diameter or their are creases in the tyre , then you cannot repair it..

They can be repaired, but it's more involved and I bet a lot of places won't want to (scroll down for the English translation):

£360 seems very expensive for one tyre! I understand that if you have a set you want to keep them the same.
