Amazing fuel economy on 4.4 TDV8

This morning i drove from Gloucester to Gatwick and back. I filled up with v-power diesel before i left... covered 283 miles, and i still have bang on half a tank of fuel left, and averaged 35.8 mpg sticking to the speed limits with mixed driving... Pretty amazing i think considering the engine size and weight.

It's an awesome package! 313BHP / 35MPG! I love timing a boot of the throttle just after it changes up a gear, there's this biblical push which, at such low revs feels quite surreal. Of course it's the big stage-one turbo doing it's thing - what a drive!

The dilemma is whether to enjoy the EPIC Harmon Karden 1200w audio or listen to the V8 !!

This is a great read: http://under-the-skin.org.uk/news_range_rover_2011.html Cheers, Greg
