Have to agree wheels and tyres are your connection with life and no compromise can be good also sometimes a weld can be stronger than the original material that in itself introduces all sorts of stress you don't want - its ok on a steel heating pipe none too clever on an alloy wheel in my opinion |

The ones I've seen are genuine overfinch with one small crack - my friend is a lr mechanic he seems to think cracked 22 and 23 is a big thing if even slightly abused and taken off road - I was wondering if anyone had a genuine repaired I appreciate the fakes probably have about the same consistency as chocolate |

I know the (not rr) bmw and Audi 20s crack on the 5 spokes (genuine) a guy I work with had a weld done on his Audi one and he has winter summer tyres swapped every 6 months and keeps an eye on it but it's not spread for 3 years. I imagine it is also down to the quality of the original wheel and the actual weld itself |

If I cracked a wheel, then I would scrap it.
