Hi and good luck in your search. To give you a basic idea of real prices of these my good friend sold one of these to Motorpoint in January this year. It was a 2005 Silver 4.2SC Vogue SE with AB spec. 85K miles and in very good order with just very minor marks and full MD service history. It took a while for him to get £7,500.00 in part ex, so don't pay too much. Cheers |

There is a big jump in price for 2007 onwards, and a big drop in price at around 100k miles.

definitely a big jump in prices. Plenty more tdv8 much newer and less miles for the equivalent petrol which seems backwards to me. hopefully something will turn up. |

a lot less petrol sc's that tdv8's so rarer, also should be less issues with sc's as they are petrol etc no turbo issues, also i think as you are talking range rovers MPG less important to owners, if i bought a range of with the interior facelift of 07 onwards then i would prefer petrol as nicer to drive, quieter etc..... you should be able to pick up a sub 100k for about £13k.... |

Thanks Pia, sorry for the late reply I have been working some crazy hours over the last week or so. Guildford is a bit of a distance to travel to be honest. Although I may change my mind when your for sale post goes up

Well the one i'm picking up at the weekend is from a dealer I've bought a couple of cars from previously and he is probably the best dealer I've ever come across, both pre and after sales. Test drove the 4.4TDV8 he had and loved it. Bit newer and also an autobiography model with lots of toys and in my opinion much nicer to be inside with being the face lift version. I did get to drive a 4.2sc and didn't think it was any quicker or nicer to drive so with the benefit of the extra mpg, lower mileage, higher spec and less years in age I stretched the budget a little bit further for the diesel.
