Sat Nav

Is it just my sat Nav that's nuts or are they all as bad ? On the way down the M1 this afternoon it wanted me to come off at every exit and take the 2nd exit on the roundabout and re-join the motorway... wasn't that great at my destination either as I could see on the map it wasn't taking the logical route.

thats cos your tmc is picking up a traffic report and telling the nav to take you off the main route because of slow traffic or similar..switch it off and all will be ok.. ... - .- -.

But it was telling me to go up the slip roads and re join the motorway the other side of the roundabout... Where's the logic in that ?

Is 'avoid motorways' activated? Happened to me, but I caught it quickly.

I had the identical issue where it kept telling me to come off at the next junction and then re-join at the roundabout...I had to switch the settings off and on again before it would stop....The settings were exactly the same but had been turned off and on as though it needed a reminder of them... I need more help than most...sorry !!

That sounds like an idea as I've checked them and they all look as I'd expect them to be, will try turning them all off or on and back again.
