After a few weeks of all being well with the Range Rover the "air suspension inactive" message showed up on the dash. This isn't the first time it's popped up but it's normally gone out after a few miles of driving. This time the message won't go and the height control dial has no lights on. Firstly I checked the fuses, the 20amp fuse controlling the suspension had blown so I replaced it and did a hard reset to see if the fault cleared. Unfortunately the fault remains. I've tried running the steering left to right to see if that sorted it but nothing. Where should I look next? Is there a way to hard wire the compresser to check it's working?

Hard reset ?

If a hard fault on the EAS it then requires a diagnostic tool to re-enable it.

Do this first and read any fault codes related to the EAS

Has the fuse blown again? .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember

I'll take it to the garage tomorrow and see what the diagnostic machine throws up. Fuse hasn't blown again but I can't get the suspension to do anything.
