Hi all new to the forum so a quick story . last may bought my first range rover a 4.2 SC vougue se. FDSH 73K.
I wanted to go back to the green oval after a few years with an audi , the previous vehicle being a disco 2 4.0 V8 ( fully loaded jap import ) which I had for some 11 years with no major troubles !.So money in hand I took a chance and got it direct from a main dealer ,It had been px'ed with a known trans mission noise. The transfer box was the suspect, so 8.5k was agreed sold as seen.deal done I drove it around for months with me noise getting steadily worse so a recon box and half a days graft and all was sorted . whilst the box was done I also did a full lubricants change to keep everything tip top.
the only other thing not working is the parking sensors but I'll get round to them soon. I love the thing as just puts a smile on my face every time I drive it There is stuff I want to do upgrade etc so I'm hoping the forum will be a help.
I'll post a pic next time it's washed, PS I'm not very good on computers. Range rover 4.2 SC 06MY.
