While searching the classifieds I noticed that there seem to be two types of reclining rear seat controls available, one with a seat heater control like this:



and one without, like this:



I've seen both fitted to MY12 vehicles. The former also has a third button that the latter doesn't have. What does the button do?

Were these different official options or did LR just change the equipment at some point?

In the former example the heater control seems to show that the rear seats are also cooled as well as heated (climatic seats). In examples I've seen with these fitted they still have controls on the centre console as well. Are they the same controls as on the door or do they have a different function?

The former example I have seen on a petrol Westminster (although the above pic is from the LR brochure), the latter on a diesel Westminster (both in Germany).

Right, i used to have the first picture in my 2012 5.0 Autobiography, The controls in central console are only for heating controls only, the heated seat controls are off the door on this switch and i had heated and cooled seats. The Third button was the lumbar support for the seat.

Oh and also forgot, you only get the bottom button on passenger side as that is the front seat away button.
