Well you can actually see out of the rear screen, it doesn’t breakdown all the time, build quality and materials are spot on, more safety features than you can shake a big stick at, the most comfortable car seats I have ever sat in, unparalleled customer service and support from the supplying dealer and Volvo UK, superb handling on country roads, a capable cruiser on the motorway, a boot large enough for 2 large Labradors, an infotainment system that is better than any other car we have ever owned, fantastic fuel economy, no squealing brakes, no oil dilution problems....... shall I go on?

Yes, a boring old Volvo 🤔 lol

Glad you’re pleased with it Thumbs Up

Between the 3 Volvo V70’s that I’ve driven over 250,000 miles, I’m familiar with their seats being the best in the business, while my old man’s 2005 V70 is still going strong and is rust free despite loads of abuse Laughing Only the 60,000 mile limit on new car warranties would stop me from ever buying another Sad

But, as a Volvo driver, you’re going to have to get used to taking a little stick, especially when you say it’s “better in every respect” Wink

We had a XC70 years ago and the seats were very comfy. Have to agree about the looks BUT if that's what floats your boat then the stigma that goes along with driving a volvo of any model is what it is.

Very nice 911. They're on my bucket list, just not sure which one yet.

Wales

Just found thus thread while trying to search for 'first cars for kids'.

Any how, I've had a cut down so currently down to 4 vehicles at moment.

These are the dailies, well the transit is very daily, the defender not so much 🤣.

This transit is by far best van ever, currently sitting with 222k on the clock, and in the picture the defender was starting to spin wheels where as the van was rock steady 🤷‍♂️

Back to where it all began in May 2011, with an FL2, this time as a second car.
Loving it! 😁
