air suspension fault

hi all, can anyone help, my L322 was parked for a couple of days on a slope when i went to use it the message "air suspension inactive flagged up, i also have a abs light on the dash, the front air spring are quite low but the rear ones are high, the raise/lower switch isnt iluminated. any ideas

Have you carried out a battery disconnect yet? The proper procedure is in the wiki section above..

When you reconnect the battery make sure that you turn the steering wheel all the right and hold for a second then all the way left and hold for a second..

Does it flag any other messages when you move the car e.g. HDC fault

no other messages, i did try disconnecting the battery to no avail.

Do you have diagnostics available?

Most on here would recommend the IIDtool from GAP. It's likely that you have a hard fault if you've got no lights on the suspension panel and can only be reset using diagnostics.

If you say that the front is lower than the rear then you may have a leak in one of your air springs. Best to get the codes read first before looking at the wiring.........
