United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue
Changing L322 boot lid

Hi you lovely RR Fans.

L322 TDV8 Vogue SE A 2011 version D5F1.

Changed boot lid (no idea what version of L322 it came off) we used new lids wiring loom and ancillaries which seems to have same part numbers as existing ancillaries; now:

1. the remote key doesn’t work.
2. the glove box won’t open.
3. the rear wiper doesn’t work.
4. the interior boot light shines bright when you open the boot and dimly all other times.

The battery was disconnected.

The key opens car when inserted in door lock.

New boot locks and opens.

The key starts car.

I removed boot light to prevent battery drain- seems to have worked as car still starts.

Everything else seems to work as before.

1. How do you recode remote key?
2. Once recoded will glove box open?
3. Should I use all ancillaries & wiring from original boot (swap from old to new lid)?
4. Once recoded will interior boot light operate normally.

Ta very much!

Can't help directly, I do know the aerial for the central locking is under the rear spoiler, to the left side, it looks a bit like an old cassette tape and has a very thin coaxial wire which can get crushed... Thumbs Up Pete

You need to swap all the ancillaries over, as some are VIN locked due to being part of the CL/Alarm system... Thumbs Up
