That is so true. A pointless version of a car to say the right things and hit meaningless legislation.

That was one of the reasons I stepped back from buying a hybrid FFRR, that, the fact they are adding yet more tech to an already less than perfect car, and the fact that LR now have Tesla working with them. The last point led me to believe I would be stuck with a worthless car once a newer version became available.

Interesting read, Robert. Thanks for the link. Engineering just to meet arbitrary targets isn't good and doesn't make good cars.
