Can the Air Spring be replaced on HPB struts

Can anyone tell me if the air spring can be replaced on front struts which have been fitted in combination with the High Performance Brake package (Option on my TDV8). These struts do not have a conventional nut to secure the gas dampner to the top mounting plate. The securing system seems to be secured with some high strength thread compound on a silver sleeve and black retaining cover. This has a 13mm Hex drive which does not unscrew even with 3/4" impact gun.
For some reason seems that for vehicles fitted with the Brembo brakes these struts might not be servicable...?? .
