Hello all ,I have 2004 4.4 vogue the only thing that doesn't work is the seat belt not in use does not chime but light goes out ,this must ev been done by previous owner ,I looked at fuses and reset dash cluster ,I've checked connections under seats all seems normal ,how has this been done,I also done the fasten seatbelt 9 10 and 20 times tip ,I still think it cud be fuse ,any advice as I wud rather it did work as I have kids ,kind thanks

Mine doesn't chime when it's not in use or do you mean you want it to chime when it is in use but not buckled?

Because either way mine doesn't chime regardless.

Hello when u say not in use can you turn it off . It never chimes no matter what on seat belts

I've only had her 2 weeks

As standard they chime, it can be disabled, and is by many, and there is a post somewhere with how to do it, it is a plug/unplug the belt thing. Not sure if it's just the reverse to deactivate it tho.

Apparently it's either 9 or 10 times with ignition on within 30 secs.... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Hello I have tried this no luck and everything seems still plugged in but I will recheck

Mines never chimed when the seat is occupied but the seatbelt is unbuckled. I've had a look with my IIDTool and can't see the option to enable or disable a chime...... is this not just for the later models?? ______________________________

My 2004 chimed if the seatbelt was not on. Only Range Rovers since 1988

I will keep looking and reading . I notice fuse 37 was missing . Fitted it with no luck . Looked it up it says transfer box and towing operation

I'll have a go down the farm track tomorrow not wearing my seatbelt just to see if you need to be moving to activate the chime. Other than that mine might be faulty because it's never chimed all the time I've owned it... ______________________________

My 2012 chimes as soon as you move off if any occupied seat belt isn't buckled. I also looked with the IID tool to see if I could switch it off but haven't found where yet. Grateful for pointers if anyone knows please... Mike - MPx
