Fluid change recommendations

What's the viewpoint of my learned fellow forum members regarding fluid changes for diffs, transfer box and gearboxes?

On my L322 I ignored the 'sealed for life' nonsense from LRand took the ZF recommendation to change the gearbox oil at 60k.

As a lot of L405s are now well over 60k miles, is this worth doing?

Depends on ownership requirements, warranty requirements and provision and personal choice.

Generally I'd agree that getting the 'box serviced regularly is a good thing....

However under Warranty there is no such requirement and is not part of the LR service schedule, and thus if you chose to have it serviced you may actually invalidate the warranty......

Do it.

I do mine every 25 or 30k miles.
Replace the filter every second fluid change as they are 170 quid a go.
Change of fluid at an indie is about 250 quid.
