If the dealer is suggesting more than £400 then its probably cheaper to buy a set as Stan suggests. There i go agreeing with Stan again - I'm such a kiss ass. Geoff |

Buy just the steps from the parts department, you won't need the wiring, and afaik it will not be more than £300.

I was also told that the deplorable steps were not covered by the extended LR warranty as they were a dealer fit option only, even though they were fitted from new.

Ended up just getting the dealer to sort it. I know it's expensive but decided to sell the car so need them working for that!
