One of my mates has a Skoda and he showed me how he can dial hands free using contact names only, the phone even points out that there are two numbers stored and does he want home or mobile for the named individual.

Well as its been raining a lot here I thought I would try it but the phone just says directory empty or asks for a number (which it dials fine when I give it). The on screen phonebook is fine displays stored numbers and dials them with only a screen or steering wheel press required BUT how do I make it voice dial using a name only or put another way how do I get names in the directory.

This is only a nice to have, I've had the car two years and not looked for or missed this feature. Geoff

there is a separate phonebook for when you use the voice system. you have to store the names/numbers first.

When setting up the car for voice dialling you can put the numbers in with the touch screen , first time I did it as prompted I did it by voice , now that was a ball ache  2008 MY Supercharged
