New Very Cheap Grille Experiment

So, on the back of this very short thread : http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic40826.html

I bought one of these :

I've always liked the later style grilles as per stealth pack, so I bought a rattle can body colour / primer / satin black etc. After a few very patient days and realising you should never spray lacquer in a very cold garage in the middle of a Scottish winter, this end result was thus:
Old one:

New one:

Still not sure whether I like it or not, completely changes the front end. Still, grille only cost £12.50 + £40 for paint. Got to be none of the cheapest things I've ever done to the car!

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green

I did the exact same upgrade, last summer. A bit of rattle and some patience can save a a few quid Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

^^^ Sorry, but I think she is right.
It works well on 2010 onwards cars but it just doesn't flow on our 2006 - 2009 set up. 2006 4.2 SC

She does agree it looks better in the flesh so to speak, The pic doesn't do it justice, I like it so that's all that matters really .
