Yep, me too. I'd rather be at work to be frank. #9ing waste of time and the same #9ing relatives here who got on my nerves last year.

My wife's family can #9. Got 8 of them here at the moment plus a dog and a guinea pig. FFS.

Arrived Wednesday, not fecking off till Monday. Glugging back my 1990 Calon Segur like it is £2.99 Aussie Shiraz. Expecting food at ridiculous time - my wife put dinner on the table at 5.30pm FFS. Their fat, spoilt dog has bitten my youngest (my wife had to talk me out of taking it outside and shooting it) and wakes me up at 6am with its whining (which they do nothing about). I'm not sure the fecker will survive the next few days.

And if they think they can stay longer if the weather closes in, they can feck off. I'll be towing their crappy cars to the end of the drive with the Rangie and telling them to find somewhere else to hole up.

Bah humbug.

Well you lot of Mr Happies can all #9 -off - I'm 9000 miles from home, at work and I getting #9ed off with a stupid f'ing agent who cannot arrange to get off my crew members who have been here since August and were supposed to be home for Christmas (so you imagine what happy bunnies they are when last night at 9pm they had to be told that it looks like they are here until February now because the local Immigration office won't allow crew changes for ships out at anchor and the owner won't pay for the ship to go onto a berth just for a crew change) off the ship. Bah Humbug - not the happiest Christmas day I have had and I'm the piggy in the middle relaying the messages and having to put up with the flack from both sides. But hey it's what I'm paid for and if I didn't do this job I would have some other much more boring one that didn't pay so well and didn't take me to the sunshine when all at home are freezing their asses off and are hacked off coz the heated screens aren't working or the screen washer bottle is frozen again........................... roll on the end of January or beginning of February when I can have 4 days leave in Singapore before I fly back to cold and wet Blighty! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Granted - a lot of you guys may be having what you percieve as a pretty miserable Christmas... but at least you're at home with families (well, most anyway eh Tim!). They may well annoy the Censored out of you, but grin and bear it. That's all part of Christmas I'm afraid.

Could be much worse, you could be stuck in a corner of Helmand Province at present - or be one of many families with relatives/good friends stuck out in sandy climes at this time who are unable to share Christmas with them. Or worse... much worse. Please spare a thought for those, and make the most of your Christmas.

To absent friends!

All the best for today! Thumbs Up
