UV resistant clear coat for HL brake light and headlights

So my HL brake light was jaded due to UV exposure as many are. I replaced it with an aftermarket smoked version. Trouble is that the LED’s are so crap that it might as well not be there. I’ve had several people tell me that’s it’s stopped working when in fact, up close, it’s fully working.

Now I’m back to plan A having ordered a new OEM part from @Duckworths.

I’d like to stop the UV jading issue from the outset so I’ve been reading about UV protecting clear coat.

Can anyone suggest a professional quality UV resistant clear coat that I can apply to the new light before fitting ?

My local supplier Express Paints ( https://express-paints.co.uk/ ), can supply most things in a single aerosol pack form factor.

I’ve also seen 3M clear coat wipes. It seems to these that these would not be sufficient to use on the new light but may be good enough to stop headlight lens fading/yellowing. Anyone used these ?

Have you considered using urethane film ?
Plenty of this on eBay.

I've used it on bikes and on car headlights when I found stone chips starting to accumulate.
Can be a bit of a faff to apply.
But take your time and results can be good enough such that the film is hard to spot.

Come to think of it I replaced my high level brake light last year....

And one or two bikes - Ok, maybe more than one or two....
