My life with LRs since my first 1986 RRC in 1992 | |
Hi I grew up with LR,s prior to joining the Army in 1980. The first one I ever drive was a Lightweight FFR, I went with th TA from Deysbrooke Bks in Liverpool to Warcop to help organise a vehicle orienteering excercise. Here are some of the pictures of my LR's of RR, plus a Civilian Recovery used by the Army. Plus my faithful LR (HS) Higher Specification (TUM) Truck Utility Medium 4x4 Defender, to give it her correct title. However they were more commonly know has a Wolf, which was the project / trails name. I spent a short time with the Army Rally Team, but carnt find a picture at the moment. The only LR I have not driven is a Series 1. My favourite is the FC101, but they are not very practical to own. But I'd love one.
Happy Motoring.
