I did have a look for a pipe but couldn't see one, maybe, like you say, it's blocked elsewhere. I'll have a route round for that tank tomorrow. Cheers. |

As far as I can remember the EGR delete does throw up a code in the ECU, but unlike most cars, it doesn't go in to limp mode... I get the feeling that BMW didn't rate them as altogether necessary, so they are not bothered if they function or not..

As I said the BMW part of the system doesn't appear to be that bothered if the EGR works or not, hence no orange light Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

What could be the cause then if you had no EGR blanking kit fitted and you got this error code via the IID TOOL
