Help with Wheel Selection

hi all,

I've got a great 2005 RR Vogue, but the wheels just don't work where I live (Barbados). It has 22" rims with 35's and the country is full of pot holes. The issue is that this car looks really cool this way - image below, but its not workable. I will def bust tires and rims on these roads.

Can anyone suggest an alternative? Perhaps the original 19" wheels with fat tires? Iron after market rims? Anyone have any photos of what that might look like? I just need some examples of what might look cool and be more functional.

Thanks, SD

If available where you are, L405 20 inch take offs with 255.55.20 tires. Have them, as have others on here, and find them a good compromise. Roads here are pretty poor.

On my phone at the moment so haven’t got photos. John

Thank you, this is a good idea. Unfortunately, I can't get the rims here!
I had another idea, instead of 285/35/22, maybe I could go to 285/40/22 to get a bit more rubber between me and road - would that fit?
