United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Autobiography TDV6 Corris Grey
Alston headlining/Engine Power

Hi Guys, I am new to the forum having picked up my RR AB on the 31/3/17. Its my first having had a Cayenne Diesel S before this. My question is this - My car has Alston headling which I quite like, but could anybody tell me what its made of? Is it Suede, or Alcantara, or someting else.
One more question if I may, why has my V6 only got 254BHP when the V6 RRS has 300+BHP with apparently the same engine?
Thanks

Being an AB, i'd guess it's some kind of premium fabric as can be chosen instead of full leather so must be made of something lovely or everyone would spec the full leather.

As for engines, the RRS can be had with the SDV6 engine which is just over 300bhp & this is due to having an extra turbo, although could be other differences to the internals, however i believe they're other than the extra turbo, basically the same engine.

The SDV6 isn't available on the FFRR which i found strange, however the difference in performance even in the different vehicles is negligible, but the TDV6 has the better economy. Paul
