I have just taken my MY10 Vogue to my dealer to be traded in against an MY11 4.4. We only had it for 7 months but in that time we managed to put 15k miles on it, so time for an upgrade.

Now for my quandary:
Do we go for a Vogue with a customised interior (quilted leather seats, headlining etc..), or a standard Autobiography? Colour will be white, with a black and white leather interior. Essential extras will be an e-dif, heated and cooled front seats, and tints (for the dogs).

Another question, are brembos standard now for MY11, my dealer wasn't too sure. *Gone* Discovery3 HSE

Only have two local dealers.

One of them in Battersea has never shown any interest in me. They don't appear to believe me that I want to buy a car and are altogether insulting. The staff would much rather sit around talking to each other even if you have been so rude as to interupt them to ask for assistance.

The other, whilst not being fantastic technically, are always willing to help out. I guess they know they are onto a good thing with me (3new LR's this year alone). *Gone* Discovery3 HSE

Brembo's are fitted for the 2011 model year TDV8's, I think they were omitted for 2010 MY TDV8 only. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

Just wondering really as either look good - I have an order for a white one with black interior which is due 1st March  "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

It was originally going to be fiji white, which is a much nicer (whiter) than our last white one. However, upon reflection the white was very "look at me". Every where I went it stands out, and came across very much as a posers car. Upon reflection this is probably what it was. This is mainly due to my age, as I looked like a youngster who had bought a bling-mobile.
However in my new job I do not want to stand out, or come across as I am trying too hard. The other issue with white was that we never wanted to take to car to certain places for fear of vandalism, as it stands out so much.

Fiji white is stunning, in other circumstances I would have kept with my initial decision, But I wish to be a bit more understated. Ha ha understated and autobiography!

I am concerned that black might be a bit boring, blue too blue, and green too old. Why oh why can't I have one in each colour! I have until Monday to change my mind, which I expect I will do about 10 times. *Gone* Discovery3 HSE

I fully know what you mean about colour - I like the light bronze colour and also the blue, but then again I like the white which is what I have ordered but thinking about what you have said I might change my mind again

Every time I see one I go wow that looks great - that is all except silver. Had a black Disco 3 which was a nightmare to keep clean so deffo wont go for black and there seems to be alot about in black

Looking at the second hand market, every other car is Santorini black. In fact it is probably 3 out of 4. I just sold my black sports car - too much hassle to keep clean. Move it from one side of the road to the other and you'd need to wash it.

I rather like the Stornaway Grey.
