Just a thought - as the ff does seem to suffer sometimes from wiring connectivity issues, why were the connectors not gold plated? HDMI cables are widely available and cheap enough with gold plated connectors so it wouldn't have added too much to the cost of an already hefty priced car. Are there any manufacturers out there that do this to their offerings? QUID FACIUM TIBI
