HDC

Hi all
Each time I switch tje ignition on, sounds a gong and on the dash board appears forjust a second "HDC inactive". Is this normal? Is the system checking?
I didn't tried the HDC yet, I don't have a steep descent here near me.
Must I be worried about this?
Cheers

Antonio

Check your battery! Usually first sign it's on its way out

Its the battery. It may not be on the way out. Do you do a lot of short journeys? I do and one morning I had the dreaded clicks ! Battery specialist said the battery was OK but the short journeys were not doing it any good. They suggested every 6 to 8 weeks, put it on charge overnight and it will be fine for another 6 to eight weeks. A bit inconvenient I know but cheaper than a new battery. BTW my battery was less than a year old when this happened last October.

There's another thread on this, mine does it even after being on charge, and so do others.
I wouldn't worry too much. Thumbs Up
